Hi! My name is Kaiyan Mistree
As a kid growing up in the bustling heart of Mumbai, India, I was always intrigued by the organized chaos and the way spaces around us were designed. This curiousity naturally steered me towards studying Architecture, a field where I could blend my love for aesthetics with a desire to create functional designs. But as I ventured deeper into the world of design and problem-solving, I began to see a more extensive canvas that needed my attention – the canvas of business management.
While my MBA equipped me with an array of theoretical tools and techniques, when I dove headfirst into the real world as the Head of Operations at a high growth real estate startup, I discovered that there was more to management than what met the eye in academic texts. Here, in the heat of daily fire fighting and operations, 'common sense management' came to the fore as a beacon guiding our journey. These insights formed the bedrock of my articles on LinkedIn, as I sought to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
To my delight, these narratives of common sense management resonated with a wide audience, reaffirming my belief that there was a need for a more practical, down-to-earth understanding of business management. This revelation ignited a spark within me. How could I make this concept more engaging and digestible, taking it beyond just the LinkedIn articles?
That's when nearly a year ago, I decided to combine my background in design and problem solving with my newfound passion for business management. What if I could visualize the essence of common sense management in a medium that was universally loved and easily accessible? And thus, the concept of Management Marvels Comic Book, the world's first Business Management Comic Book, was born.
We launch the Management Marvels Comic Book on the 6th of July 2023 and I can't help but reflect on this fascinating reflective journey – a journey that has shaped me personally and professionally. This comic book is more than just a creative project; it's a medium through which I hope to inspire and empower individuals in their professional endeavors. It is a testimony to the power of common sense, the beauty of simplicity, and the promise of an exciting new chapter in the world of business management. Let the marvels unfold!
